What is the point of Kretinsky?
Major shareholder in the Post Office which is in the shit

As West Ham part owner he seemingly has no interest in taking control or driving the club on with substantial investment.
Seems to be just a cuckoo in the nest riding the value of his investment up on the backs of fans.
The club is going nowhere until an active committed owner with a serious ON FIELD plan emerges.
That means Kretinsky needs to join Sullivan in heading for the exit

RB shorty . He wants out 100 per cent . He ain't the saviour but he's struck a deal similar to what the PAI group did . They won't speak to Brady and Sullivan full stop .

Hope that's true Marty.? Good to know there's someone at the club who can run the business and keep their gob shut.!

Re: What is the point of Kretinsky?
He wants to sell his shares . But I was told he struck a deal for the stadium months ago . If so that's the reason he's so low key now . The stadium owners point blank refuse to speak to Sullivan and Brady .

Re: What is the point of Kretinsky?
Is he making money in excess of the dividend due proportional to his investment?

If he sells that investment and turns a (tidy) profit, with whom is he obliged to share such benefits*?

* - to make it "fair".

Re: What is the point of Kretinsky?
A marxist would say he's making money off the workers at the club. The most important workers are multi millionaires. Generally you might make money when someone prints it and make it available.

Re: What is the point of Kretinsky?
the point being he is not making money off anyone at the club.

You'll make money from:

A wage
A dividend
Growth in value and a sale.

Not sure any of those currently apply but someone probably knows a lot better

I'm interested enough in West Ham to go to as many games as I can. I'm interested in other cultures and people. I'm interested in science and technology and the people who do it. I'm interested in History and the people in it. I enjoy the company of interesting people, generally in a pub having a decent pint. I'm invested in golf and art and culture and birds.

Doesn't matter about 'as opposed to' once profit or loss comes into the equation on a level par as the sport it is fucked as a level playing field......therefore modern football is shit......you'll like it because you are a materialistic self absorbed cunt.......braindead.....

Re: What is the point of Kretinsky?
As opposed to holiday park moguls?

Our ownership has got much more competent over the years. We are in the top ten of the largest match day Crowds in the World .Are sixth in the most important league in the World and won one of four possible cups last year. We have manageable finances.

We could be in a worse place.

Re: What is the point of Kretinsky?
We're owned by people who've spotted an opportunity and like a bit of football, rather than seen an opportunity to show off their wealth to the world through football......modern football is a cunt.

Yeah but the 'excitement' is all down to us placing that on him rather than anyone else. He's not come and made loads of bold statement or declared he'll take over as far as I'm aware, and we're not privvy at all to what goes on behind the scenes.

Of course it's a little disappointing as you say given this is football it seems he doesn't want to buy the club, heavily invest and move us on, but it's his business (literally) if he just saw an opportunity to make money and took it. It's a shame but such is life and there's fuck all we can do about it.
